Type of Customer: Hall's Warehouse Corporation provides frozen, refrigerated and dry storage
in seven state-of-the-art warehouses in central New Jersey.

Project Location: South Plainfield, NJ
System Size: 1.194 MW total. This project consisted of two phases: Phase I is a 697 kW system and Phase II is a 497 kW system.
Completion Date: Phase I - March 2007
Phase II - December 2008
Vanguard's Role: Project Management, Mechanical and Electrical Construction
Type of Financing: Phase I of this project is owned by Jayne Enterprises. Phase II is a PPA provided by enXco Development Corp.
Technology Used: DC photovoltaic (PV) system using SolarWorld modules (Phase I), First Solar (Phase II). Xantrex and Satcon inverters were used.
Implementation Highlights:  The installations at Hall's are currently one of the largest rooftop mounted solar installations in the U.S. The estimated first year production is approx. 1,310 MWh of energy, which is equivalent to the avoided emissions of 2,079,480 lbs. of CO2. This is comparable to taking 173 cars off of the road and conserving 107,064 gallons of gasoline annually.
